Leaders in educational technology can be tasked with evaluating their organization's Learning Management System (LMS). Identifying LMS stakeholders and analyzing the full scope of their needs is challenging.
My
Solution
I created an evidence-based minicourse that guides learners through the process of identifying stakeholders and determining their needs. Learning is enhanced by the use of a relatable scenario, interactive activities, and knowledge checks with corrective feedback.
Why
It Works
Carefully sequencing information supports learners' ability to build procedural schema that connect existing knowledge with new information, which is key for graduate students who typically have a great deal of prior knowledge. Interactive learning activities direct learners' attention to key concepts, while allowing them to control aspects of their learning experience. Citing credible sources builds learners' confidence in the material.
